Can a man become impotent from medication?
Medications like cyproterone acetate (CPA), medroxyprogesterone acetate (MPA), and LHRH reduce the hormones testosterone and estradiol. These hormones are responsible for men’s sexual desire. In many countries, these drugs are used for the chemical castration of rapists.
During chemical castration, men’s sexual desire is reduced by chemicals and testosterone, which is primarily a sex hormone, is reduced. An anorphanidisic drug is used for this purpose. However, its effect only lasts for a certain amount of time. It must be given again after an interval. It can be used as both a medicine and an injection.
This drug is also used to make men impotent
Some time ago, in China, women administered impotent medicine to protect themselves from their husbands’ deception. According to a Global Times article, some wives secretly give their husbands a drug called Diethylstilbestrol. This drug has been said to be a type of synthetic estrogen that prevents men from having an erection. The WHO had identified this drug as carcinogenic. According to the Jiaxiang Morning Herald, in some places this medicine was secretly sold as a white powder, odorless and instantly soluble in water.
