Repeat these 5 principles of Reiki daily for your mind, body and soul

A Japanese natural healing technique, Reiki is made up of two words “Rei” meaning “God Consciousness” and “Ki” meaning “Life Force Energy”. Known for its magical abilities to restore physical and emotional well-being, this technique is thousands of years old and is mentioned in the Atharva Veda. It heals a person’s aura and paves the way for self-transformation and helps to dive deeper into the spiritual realm.

When my Reiki master attuned me to Reiki Level 1, I truly understood the meaning of repeating positive thoughts and affirmations into the universe.

Here are these 5 Reiki principles

The first and most important lesson in learning Reiki is to understand the set of 5 Reiki principles. The core of Reiki lies in repeating these 5 principles with regular practice and gaining control over mind, body and spirit. So, repeat these principles first thing in the morning to see fruitful results.

1. “Just for today, I won’t get mad”

In our daily lives, many things happen that can easily irritate us. Sometimes we face obstacles at work or go through health or relationship problems, the list goes on and on. With anger stored in our hearts and minds, we tend to get angry at ourselves or the people around us. The consequence of this is that we let negative vibrations escape into the universe. Such harmful feelings corrupt our channel and aura of pure reiki.

So by repeating this principle, our mind will ensure that it doesn’t rage over petty issues. And, with practice, even in dire circumstances, we will master the art of remaining calm and sane.

2. “Just for today, I won’t worry”

The nature of the mind is to think. What happens when we start to worry? We get stuck in a loop of fearful thoughts and become insecure and scared. As humans, we need to learn to conquer our minds and thoughts. By remaining under constant worry, we only complicate our lives by losing our capacity for rational thought.

By remembering this principle, we are guiding our minds to replace worrying thoughts with more rational ones. We only receive what we give, so in order to attract abundance, we must change the way we perceive life. To learn how to stop worrying and focus on you!

3. “Just for today, I will do my job honestly”

As the breadwinner, we work hard every day. But with what intention we approach our work, it matters. If we work honestly, with the right intentions, our hard work will always pay off. Indulging in corruption, bribery and laziness in your work will affect you in the same way. Honesty at work is irreplaceable. You play your role well, the universe will take care of the rest.

4. “Just for today, I will be kind to my neighbors and to all living things.”

There is no more liberating feeling than being kind. By being kind, you open your heart to receive more kindness and love from the universe. Nothing is needed to practice kindness in your daily life.

5. “Just for today, I will be grateful for all my blessings”

Gratitude is always the key to success in life. By expressing gratitude for even the smallest things, we are telling the universe to celebrate the blessings it showers on us. With this type of abundance mentality, we will only receive more than we have.

By practicing the repetition of these Reiki principles, you automatically open your inner channels of love and healing.
