Disadvantages of eating turmeric containing lead

According to experts, lead is a metal that acts like calcium in the body and is deposited in bones. Excessive lead consumption can have serious effects on the kidneys, heart and brain. Additionally, it can also increase the risk of heart attack, kidney failure, and stroke. If lead-containing turmeric is used in large quantities, it can hinder brain development in children and cause fatigue, high blood pressure and digestive problems in adults.

what type of turmeric to choose

If you want to avoid serious illnesses, every woman after 35 years of age must pass this medical examination.

If you want to protect yourself from lead-containing turmeric, experts say you should use organic turmeric or grind turmeric and use it at home. This reduces the risk of falsification; keep in mind the packaging norms of FSSAI in turmeric purchased from the market.
