40 digital health service applications successfully integrated with Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) – ET HealthWorld


This National Health Authority (NHA) under its flagship scheme Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) announced the successful integration of 13 additional Digital Health Solutions In the last three months ABDM sandbox environment. This brings the number of ABDM integrated service applications to 40 since the national launch was announced on September 27, 2021. The ABDM partners’ ecosystem now includes 16 government applications and 24 private sector applications.

The integration is a technical collaboration between ABDM and health tech service providers that will help bridge the existing gap between the various digital platforms, user applications and stakeholders in the digital health space. The 13 applications added to ABDM Partners Ecosystem in the last 3 months are as follows (not listed in any special order category):

  • Like HMIS Solutions DrucareOne Amrut by Drucare Pvt. Ltd., Atma by Narayan Health Ltd. and Amrut by Piramal Health Management and Research Institute.
  • Such as LMIS solution Patient registration application By Dr. Lal Pathlabs Ltd.
  • Health Tech Solutions such as MEDPlat by Argusoft India Limited, Prestin Care by GHV Advanced Care Pvt Ltd, ALA CARE by Allied Solutions Pvt Ltd and Curelink by Curlink Pvt Ltd
  • Personal Health Records (PHR) application like Health Bridge by National Informatics Center (NIC)
  • Other leading government solutions like National Viral Hepatitis Control Program (NVHCP), Health Management System Integrated by West Bengal Health and Family Welfare, Reproductive and Child Health (RCH) Portal and invaluable application of National Health Mission (NHM) through NIC and e-Sanjeevani . Explaining the importance of this partnership, Dr. RS Sharma, CEO, NHA said – “We welcome health tech innovators who are actively coming forward to be part of the ABDM ecosystem. In the last seven months since the launch of ABDM, a growing number of popular user applications have integrated with the digital platform. We currently have 867 active integrators in the ABDM sandbox. Of these, 40 major applications have already completed their integration and are connecting more users to India’s digital health ecosystem. Adding further, Dr. Sharma said – “ABDM Partner Ecosystem has seen enthusiastic participation of the private sector. The NHA promotes this collaborative development as our goal is to change the way the Indian healthcare industry serves its 1.35 billion people. “

The remaining 27 health tech applications that completed their ABDM integration before 9 p.m.M February 2022 is as follows.

  • LMIS systems such as Centralized Laboratory Information Management Systems (CLIMS) by SRL Ltd. and CrelioHealth by Crelio Health Software.
  • Health locker service providers such as Digilocker by National e-Governance Division, DRIFCase by Drivecase Healthtech Pvt Ltd and DockPrime by DockPrime Technologies.
  • Health tech players such as Practo by Practo Technologies, Veraton Health Pvt. The NHA is also organizing an Integrators Convention in New Delhi on 13th May 2022 to hold a direct contact session with these 40 integrators to get feedback / suggestions for improvement and simplification in the ABDM integration process. ABDM integration is achieved through the ABDM sandbox (one digital). The space has been created for experiments to test the integration process before the digital health product is brought live for actual use). Any digital healthcare provider / developer can register on the ABDM sandbox following a predefined process of integrating and validating their software systems with the ABDM APIs. Currently, 867 public and private sector coordinators have registered under the ABDM Sandbox to integrate and validate their software solutions under this scheme.
