what is anemia
According to health experts, the risk of anemia increases due to low hemoglobin levels in the body. Hemaglobin is a type of protein that helps in the functioning of the body. It increases the number of red blood cells in the body and maintains the flow of oxygen to the blood cells. This problem becomes more pronounced when there is less iron in the body. Excessive caffeine, cigarettes, and alcohol can also cause anemia as the body is not able to absorb iron properly.
