To ensure that children stay safe and healthy, it is crucial to take some precautionary measures and work to boost children’s immunity. Here are five simple tips to consider to keep your children protected from the latest variant of Covid:

  1. Apply Anu oil in the nostrils:
    Made with a combination of different herbs with multiple benefits, Anu oil is an excellent ayurvedic mixture to which the opening of the nostrils is attributed, the relaxation aid and the strengthening of the respiratory system. Daily application of 1-2 drops of warm Anu Yoin children’s nostrils it can create a mechanical barrier on the mucosal surface and also act as an excellent antimicrobial agent, neutralizing the threat at the entry level.
  2. Warm water, honey and turmeric gargles:
    The throat is another common route of covid infection, which is why it is suggested to gargle with a concoction of warm water, a pinch of turmeric and honey. It can be mixed with other fruit juices such as Pineapple, Apple, Orange, etc. to make it tastier for the kids. If fresh amla is not available, dried amla can be soaked in water overnight, macerated, filtered and used for cooking, or it can be mixed with fruit juices etc.
  4. Golden Milk:
    One of the simplest and most effective ways to improve overall respiratory health is to consume the immensely popular golden milk. To prepare this, you need to add 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric and 1 pinch of black pepper powder to a glass of warm milk. You can also add unrefined cane sugar to improve its flavor. Daily consumption of this special milk will play a key role in keeping your child’s respiratory diseases at bay.
  5. Onion and honey syrup:
    This repairing syrup can be easily made at home by following a few simple steps. You can start by chopping a small onion and putting it in a glass jar. Then add honey in the jar until the chopped onions are completely submerged. Now close the lid and let it brew for 6-10 hours. Finally, stir the mixture well before consuming it. Giving a dose of 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of this syrup on a regular basis can also improve your child’s respiratory system.
