Working in the office is better than working from home for mental health – study


Work from home culture: During the Corona outbreak, people all over the world worked from home instead of going out. During this period, the trend of working from home has increased and people have also taken advantage of it. Even after so many days, many companies are offering the option of working from home to their employees. But working from home has long had a negative impact on people’s mental health. A recent study found that working in the office is more effective than working from home in maintaining mental health.

Mental health of people working from home in India is poor
Recently, a global study found that the mental health of employees working in offices in India is better than those working from home. It is said that unlike Europe and America, office workers in India enjoy mental peace. Here, people working in the office remain less stressed than those working from home or in a hybrid environment.

Looking at Europe and America, the study indicates that the mental health of people working in a hybrid environment in these countries is improving. This study was conducted by Work Culture and Mental Wellbeing at the Sapiens Lab in America. As part of this study, approximately 55,000 employees were included in this research.

Study carried out on the workplace and many other aspects
In this study, it was found that people working in teams had better mental health than those working alone. On the other hand, if we talk about team size growth and mental health, other countries are better than India in this area. An approach called quotient was added to this study.
