Why does gas start to form just before your period? Know the reason for this


Excessive gas formation before your period is a symptom of premenstrual syndrome (PMS). Many hormonal changes occur in the body before your period arrives. Here are some things you can try to reduce gas

Eat healthy foods like fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, nuts and seeds

Don’t limit your salt intake to more than 2,300 mg per day.
