Characteristics of Monkeypox Clade 1B Strains

And it is said that those who come into contact with monkeypox patients or people with suspicious symptoms of monkeypox should definitely have their initial examination. Issuing an advisory, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention said the symptoms of this strain of monkeypox also resemble those of earlier monkeypox: symptoms such as fever, rash or lymphadenopathy are visible.
Cases of MPOX have been reported since July 14, 2022, with the most recent case reported on March 27, 2024. The question that arises is: should India be afraid of this new strain?
