Dr. Diksha said that arecanut leaves are widely used in the treatment of cough, asthma, headache, rhinitis, joint pain, anorexia, etc. It relieves pain, inflammation and swelling. “The leaves are rich in vitamins like C, thymine, niacin, riboflavin and carotene and are an excellent source of calcium. Since areca is a fragrant vine, you can easily grow it as an ornamental plant in your home and get maximum health benefits from it, ”said Dr. Diksa writes.
