If your face is full of expression, you have probably noticed horizontal lines on your forehead. To reduce its appearance, place the index and middle fingers of both hands in the center of the forehead and stack them vertically. Then, moving horizontally across the forehead toward the hairline, create half circles with each set of fingers, gently pulling the skin in the opposite direction. Continue moving across the forehead while alternating sets of fingers in the top position. Once you get to the hairline, go back to the center of the forehead and work in the other direction. Repeat this exercise in each direction 5 times.

To keep enjoying the sun and prevent further wrinkles, place your index fingers on the skin just below the center of each of your eyes. Gently massage the skin moving your fingers towards the temples and stopping once you reach each outer eye. Gently pull the skin to smooth wrinkles and squint up for 5 seconds to strengthen the lower eyelids. Repeat 5 times.

Lion’s Breath is a form of Pranayama breathing performed in Lion Pose, or Simhasana, and is amazing for stretching and promoting relaxation in the face and neck. Begin by relaxing your shoulders toward your back and place your hands on your thighs. Take a deep breath in through your nose, expanding your breath toward your rib cage. Then exhale through your mouth, making a loud “haaa” sound and extending your tongue toward your chin to finish. Repeat 5 times.

*Note: Make sure you do this on a clean face and hands and apply facial oil so your hands glide across the skin.
