Married At First Sight ‘villain’ Olivia Frazer opened up about her weight loss, revealing that she has lost 30lbs since leaving the reality show.

Married At First Sight ‘villain’ Olivia Frazer has opened up about her weight loss journey, revealing she has lost 30lbs since leaving the reality show.

The 28-year-old teaching assistant took to Instagram on Friday, telling her 164,000 followers that she weighed around 80kg while filming. MAFS.

“Now I’m back to 67kg as of this morning,” he said.

“I try to stay between 60 and 65, so a few more kilos [to lose],” she said.

Olivia previously revealed that she weighed 95kg during her teenage years before deciding to have gastric sleeve surgery when she was 22 years old.

But after suffering from gallstones during her recovery, the now 28-year-old said she lost a dangerous amount of weight, dropping to just 45kg.

“My recovery was pretty good, except I developed gallstones… When you lose weight quickly, you can develop that,” Olivia said earlier this month. “So I was in a lot of pain. I went from 95kg to 45kg in a year.”

According to healthdirect.gov.au, gallstones can block the tubes that carry digestive fluids to the intestine.

Olivia also revealed that she was able to avoid excessive sagging of the skin as a result of the procedure.

“I didn’t have a lot of loose skin. She had a little in my arms but my [breasts] they were so saggy, I had to get them done,” Olivia said, referring to a breast reduction she underwent after gastric sleeve surgery.

During MAFSOn the premiere episode in February, the Newcastle-based reality star said her weight affected the way she treated herself and her relationships with men.

“I felt I had to settle for what I could get and I did. I settled for what I thought I deserved, which is horrible because I definitely deserved so much better,” Oliva said at the time.

She added that a lot of her insecurities “definitely stemmed from being overweight.”

“As a teenager I weighed around 95kg and tried to be as confident as possible on the surface,” Olivia said.

“But deep down I knew everyone was looking at the fat girl trying to put on a skirt.”

On Friday, via her Instagram Stories, the reality star also answered more questions from fans about the impact of her surgery.

“I can’t drink and eat at the same time, so I have to finish my drink at least 10 minutes before I can eat,” he said.

She also responded to those who accused her of taking the easy way out by undergoing surgery. “Fuck off!” She answered. “Surgery [is] the last thing anyone wants to do. It is the last resort.

“It’s no fun not being able to eat like everyone else, it’s no fun not being able to drink like everyone else.”

She added that the surgery has made her “throw up all the time” because her stomach is too full, and reiterated that it is not a cosmetic procedure, but was done for her health.

“I had to sacrifice a normal life in order to be at a healthy weight. I look in the mirror and I like myself,” she said.
