At the time, the media personality said that being on the app led her to go through “a lot of comparisons.”
“Comparing myself to other people, comparing myself to other people, feeling like I need to have this type of body to feel good about myself,” Hailey explained. “It can be such a dark hole that you fall into, and it happens so quickly and easily. With social media, you click on one thing and see another, and then you’re down this weird rabbit hole, and you’re putting yourself down.”
And while Hailey has seemingly taken charge of the self-love journey, she noted that it’s one that “never stops.”
“I hope to be in it even when I’m old and flabby,” she shared with the publication. “I hope I love myself then.”
