Now that Memorial Day is behind us, summer really is on the horizon. TThe approach of summer means the return of Hoboken’s beloved outdoor activities, like movies under the stars. Along with this outdoor movie tradition, Hoboken will offer outdoor Fitness in the Park classes as well as an outdoor concert series. Read on for the schedule for the City of Hoboken’s 2022 Summer Fitness in the Park and Summer Concert Series.

Fitness in the Park is a free sample of local classes yoga studios and fitness studios. After Fitness in the Park was in danger of being discontinued, Asana Soul Practice, located at 411 Jefferson Street, organized a successful petition for continuation of the program.
Participants are advised to wear sneakers and loose-fitting clothing, as well as a mat for the corresponding classes. In case of bad weather, participants should contact the local studio that teaches the class, according to the city’s bulletin.

Concerts in the Park
concerts in the park The series will air on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout the summer. It officially begins on Monday, June 13.
Mondays will be held at Southwest Park (38 Harrison Street), Tuesdays at Shipyard Park (13th Street and McFeeley Drive), and Thursdays at Sinatra Park (525 Sinatra Drive).
