And Tully Smyth has revealed that the aftercare for this year’s season couldn’t have been more different than how she was handled during her appearance on the series in 2013.
The 34-year-old man explained to tv black box she had no “mental health support” from the producers when she was labeled as the show’s villain nine years ago.

‘It was horrible; I had no support,’ she said.
“I had to contact the producers and tell them that I was going to find my own psychologist and that they would pay the bill.”
Tully said he had told the producers of Big Brother, which was showing on Channel Nine at the time: ‘You guys caused all this drama for me, you can pay for it… you guys did this.’
But he said things were different this year now that Big Brother airs on Seven and there’s a greater emphasis on mental health care for reality TV contestants.
The 34-year-old explained to TV Blackbox that she “had no mental health support” from the producers when she was labeled as the show’s villain nine years ago.
There is a wellness team, there is a psychologist. I knew from the moment we got to Sydney that this time it was going to be different,” she said.
Tully has a controversial history on Big Brother, to say the least.
He made headlines during the 2013 season when he cheated on then-girlfriend Tahlia Farrant with Anthony Drew at the house.
But he said things were different this year now that Big Brother airs on Seven and there’s a greater emphasis on mental health care for reality TV contestants.
Speaking on the Shameless podcast in 2019, Tully said she was sorry for what happened and the ‘hurt’ it caused other people.
‘There were six weeks when I was alone. [Drew] I never had to deal with the repercussions of what happened,’ he recalled.
“He was a rock star turned lesbian and I was a cheating homewrecker.”
