5 tips for practicing self-care to improve your mental health

These can include activities like getting up early in the morning, running, drinking plenty of water, etc. Staying in touch with your body and meeting its healthiest needs brings you closer to a healthy body and a happy mind.
  2. Take advantage of your fear: It is normal to express fear in conflict situations. It can range from a presentation at work, a kickoff meeting, or even showing off your creativity to your colleagues. This will de-stress you and guide your senses so that you feel calm and collected. Reflecting on how you think and recording these emotions in your journal are some mechanisms to consider.
  3. Identify your ‘we’ circle: Comfort spaces arise when you are surrounded by people who respect you, listen to you and sympathize with you. While this may take a few years for us to get there, the initial stretch is starting somewhere.
  4. Establish a balance in life: Whatever situation you find yourself in, make the most of it and avoid feelings of being overwhelmed.

  • Four times a week for 15-20 minutes
  • Once a month for 2-4 hours
