Lyons Magnus LLC is recalling nutritional products and beverages due to potential microbial contamination, including the organism Cronobacter sakazakii.
Preliminary root cause analysis shows that the products did not meet commercial specifications for sterility.
The products are packaged in various formats under many different brand names, which are listed in the table below.
All 53 products were distributed nationally, while some products were limited in scope.

About Chronobacter
Food contaminated with Cronobacter may not look or smell bad, but it can still cause illness. Although Cronobacter is not commonly linked to human illness, in rare cases it can cause serious or fatal infections. Cronobacter it can cause rare bloodstream and central nervous system infections and has been associated with serious intestinal infections (necrotizing enterocolitis) and blood poisoning (sepsis), especially in newborns.
