Tom Holland steps away from social media citing mental health

tom holland has said that he is moving away from social networks by mental health-related reasons.

Holland said he had deleted the Twitter and Instagram apps from his phone and did not intend to post for the foreseeable future.

In a video explaining the move, Holland said: “I think Instagram and Twitter are overstimulating, overwhelming.

“I get stuck and spiral when I read things about myself online and ultimately it is very detrimental to my state of mind. So I decided to take a step back and delete the app.”

Holland also used the opportunity to talk about the teen mental health charity. stem4that he sponsors.

He spoke at length about the various apps the charity offers, describing them as “fantastic” and “really useful” for young people struggling with mental health.

“So again thanks for listening. I am going to disappear from Instagram again,” she said. “And to everyone, thank you for your love and support. I love you all, and I will speak to you soon.”

Holland can be seen soon in the Apple TV + series The Crowded Room. The series began filming earlier this year in New York.
