Pilar distributed to Real Madrid Family that she maintains a healthy diet and eats consistently. “I always try to eat breakfast at the same time and try to find time in the morning to stretch,” she said. “I am used to eating healthy. By healthy food I mean fruit and vegetables, but also meat and fish”. Her favorite food? “Sorry but I love salads… But very varied, one day couscous, another day lentils… then peas”. And her guilty pleasure? “I also love hamburgers.”

Pilar works out almost every day that ends in “y”. She has said who works out five to six days a week, doing a lot of strength training and weight training to stay strong and trim. She does pilates, swims and chases after her children. “She also worked out her pelvic muscles,” she once said.

Pilar is so busy that she doesn’t sleep much. “I don’t know how to do it anymore, really,” she once said of sleeping eight hours. “I get overwhelmed… In the end I start doing things and I sleep three, four hours.”

Pilar revealed to Real Madrid Family that she uses an equation when it comes to calories. “The secret is finding a balance between what you eat and what you burn,” she said. “You have to burn everything you eat: that’s the secret.”

Pilar has her own diet and fitness method and has even published a book about it. In an interview with the engagement times revealed the five pillars of the Rubio method: “Rest, training, nutrition, physiological knowledge and, above all, mind.”
