Mental health counselor joins Wellness Collective

The New Ulm Wellness Collective is adding mental health counseling services by bringing Bonnie Beranek-Fortwengler of Meraki LegaCy Counseling Services into the organization.

Bonnie is originally from New Ulm and her career has been focused on serving others. Bonnie has a master’s degree in social work from St. Thomas and St. Catherine’s University. Bonnie provides mental health counseling for a variety of ages and mental health issues, but she specializes in play techniques, emotional support during active cancer treatment and survivorship, grief and loss, and geriatric care.

He is licensed by the Minnesota Board of Social Work and is a member of the National Association of Social Work.

Bonnie is now seeing clients at The New Ulm Wellness Collective, located at 15 S. Minnesota St.
