Sunrise weather anchor Sam Mac was shocked Wednesday morning when he joined a women-only Pilates class in Wilton, New south Wales.
The 40-year-old put his athletic prowess to the test after meeting old friend Corinne, owner of Limitless Fitness and Nutrition, who won $20,000 last year as part of Sam’s competition to promote Australian small businesses.
Sam walked through the class as the women enjoyed their morning workout, before hopping onto the reforming Pilates bed.

“You’re about to do an exercise called strapped legs,” Corinne explained to Sam, adding that some people “call it the birthing position.”
“Well, I’ve had a bit of experience with that lately,” Sam replied, referring to his partner Rebecca James, who gave birth to their daughter earlier this month.
The TV comedian looked uncomfortable as he raised his legs and placed his feet in the reformer’s foot straps.
She squeezed her legs together and pushed them back and forth as she grimaced as the camera captured every angle of Sam’s workout.
Epidurals! epidurals!’ he yelled playfully. “I’m not sure if there’s any physical benefit to this, but we’re having so much fun!”

Matt Shirvington and Monique Wright, who are filling in for David ‘Kochie’ Koch and Natalie Barr while they are in London reporting on the Queen’s funeral, watched in amusement in the Sunrise studio.
Matt said that he was relieved that Sam had worn jeans for the segment instead of shorts, as that could have resulted in a disaster.
Sam’s hilarious fitness experience comes after he welcomed daughter Margot Grace on Sunday, September 11.
Earlier this week, he was criticized by nosy people for sharing a cheery photo of Rebecca cradling her newborn while holding a huge wine glass, which he had filled with an entire bottle of rosé.
‘My dear Rebecca has been craving a glass of wine for nine months. You’re welcome boo’ she captioned her Instagram post.
Sam’s famous friends and fans loved the gag gift, with former Neighbors star Bonnie Anderson writing, “I know the sentiment!”
Sam shared this photo on Instagram over the weekend of Rebecca cradling her newborn while holding a huge wine glass, which she had filled with an entire bottle of rosé.
“Cheers to the mega pint,” one fan wrote, referencing a famous quote from Johnny Depp’s libel trial against Amber Heard.
Another follower said the cup was “well deserved.”
But some fans were not impressed by the post, with several pointing out that drinking alcohol is not recommended for women who have just given birth, especially if they are breastfeeding.
‘Should you be drinking while breastfeeding? Or are [you] bottle feeding?’ a concerned follower asked in the comments section.

‘Ummm… You’re not supposed to drink if you’re breastfeeding…’ another added.
One wrote: ‘Not breastfeeding? But if you are, remember what you have, the baby has it too.
Other fans jumped in to defend the new parents, saying it’s wrong to assume Rebecca is breastfeeding and it’s nobody’s business if she’s drinking.
It’s none of your business or ours! one supporter responded. “They are a well-educated couple who don’t need the advice or questioning of strangers.”
Sam and Rebecca, a hairstylist, welcomed Margot Grace McMillan, their first child together, on September 11.
