Mental health: Are you suffering with SAD? Expert offers three tips to overcome condition

“Since that first winter, I had never questioned why I felt this way. The brain fog I experienced meant that I told myself that this was how people felt at the beginning of the year and that there was nothing to do but wait. Finding out that might not be the case was groundbreaking. I still experience low moods at the beginning of the year, but now I am better prepared.”

To try and help people with SAD, #IAMWHOLE has teamed up with BrewDog to launch a new non-alcoholic SAD AF charity beer. The new campaign has asked men in particular to open up and talk to friends and family about depression this month.

The campaign was launched alongside a stunning celebrity video starring Stephens reciting a self-penned poem ‘I’m Sad AF’ and other celebrity backers including Danny Dyer and Youth Mental Health Ambassador and Love Island star , Dr Alex George.

When asked what his top three tips were for protecting his mental health, Daltry said: “Just get out there. Fresh air can be amazing. Also exercise, swim, jog, walk whatever is necessary. Those 10,000 steps a day are incredibly good for your health.
