Jay Cutler on buying a whole cow at once

Bodybuilding legend Jay Cutler appeared on Chris Van Vliet’s podcast in 2021. During their conversation, Cutler revealed a lot about his career. However, one of the most shocking revelations was about his crazy diet. Cutler told Chris: “I literally bought a whole cow at one time.” The four-time Mr. Olympia also said: “I would buy 30 dozen eggs at a time… I would buy 140 pounds of chicken at a time.” Cutler always told the local butcher to cut up a whole cow into different cuts of meat. He would then store all the red meat in a large freezer.

Jay surprised Chris with his crazy diet story. Chris was so surprised that he asked: “Was it 10,000 calories?”. However, the former Mr. Olympia dispelled any myths about the calories he consumed. “Between five and six. 10,000 clean calories is very hard to come by and people exaggerate calories.”

Well, even if Cutler wasn’t eating 10,000 calories a day, 5,000 to 6,000 is still a huge number. Jay also revealed some more crazy facts about his diet, “I was eating, you know, 20 egg whites for breakfast.” However, Cutler has already revealed that during some diets, I ate well over 20 egg whites per day.
