One fitness influencer tried out McDonald’s hacks while in the car, with dozens sharing their own unique way of immersing themselves in fast food.
Bec Hardgrave, a fitness trainer from Brisbane, Australiais known for her “fake” recipes on social media, regularly sharing videos with her fans on how to make iconic fast food items at home, including a low-calorie Big Mac and KFC fried chicken.
But now she has took on the challenge of road tests McDonald’s tricks with her boyfriend.
One trick, called the cup tray, involved opening the hamburger box and popping the drinking straw between the gap between the two sides.
The fries are then poured into the other side, with Bec worried that it will spill onto the car as she pours them.
Bec’s second trick involved the “best Big Mac”, which involved removing her top bow.
He then flipped the middle bun so the two burgers were in the middle.
“Not a dry bite,” Bec said, claiming it was much better.
The third hack was an attempt to break the myth that, without ice, the large drink fits in a medium.
It did not work, but many said that it was the ice that played apart, with the amount of liquid remaining the same.
One social media user commented: “As a former employee of Maccas, the one with the coca. The small without ice has the same amount of coke as the medium with ice, the medium without ice has the same amount as the large with ice.”
Another said: “When you order your next burger, ask for a steamed bun. New Zealand thing.
One said: “Double quarter pounder with cheese, add lettuce and Big Mac sauce. Bigger and better Big Mac.”
