Health Benefits of Giloy: Whenever it comes to any treatment or immunity booster, the most popular name after Aloe Vera and Ashwagandha is Giloy. Statistics from the National Library of Medicine show that since 2017 the consumption of Giloy as an Ayurvedic herb has increased rapidly.

What is Giloy?
Giloy is a vine. It is usually found on the rocks of forests, fields of fields and mountains. It has also been said that it should be consumed only after taking it from a certified, registered and educated Ayush physician.

Who should not take Giloy
Anything in excess is harmful and Giloy also falls in this category. Therefore, taking Giloy in excess can also cause harm.

  • Giloy lowers blood sugar, so those taking diabetes medicines should not consume it.
  • Its effect is hot, so its excessive consumption can cause gas or stomach irritation.
  • Giloy is a beneficial vine and its benefits will be available only when it is used in limited quantity according to Ayurvedic rules.
