Another 28 percent believe that they are not as nutritious, and 27 percent said that when they spend less on ingredients, the final dish is not as tasty, according to the OnePoll study.

When asked about what they’ve had to cut across the board, more than a quarter (27 percent) said grocery stores, but everyday shopping, eating out and takeout are also among the most common things where the British have cut spending.
