Michael Mosley’s simple salmon recipe – weight loss guru’s ‘low calorie, low carb’ meal

Michael shared the video of himself about to enjoy the delicious meal and explained that he was on day four of a ketogenic diet.

He said: “I have some cauliflower rice, which is just some grated cauliflower.

“I’ll microwave it in a minute, and I’ve got some vegetables in here, too.”

Michael claimed that the meal takes only five minutes to prepare, saying, “I fried the onion with the engineer. Then I added the coconut milk with the curry paste and salmon.”

“It takes about five minutes to cook. It’s really low calorie, low carb and delicious.”

The health expert also claimed that the vegetable alternative to rice is “great for soaking up sauce.”

Michael broke down the plant-based equivalent of white rice, comparing one cup of each.

While cauliflower rice has 20 calories per cup compared to 210 calories for white rice.

It has 4 g of carbohydrates compared to 46 g of carbohydrates in white rice and 2 g of fiber compared to 1 g of fiber.
