If you know the difference between brain stroke and brain haemorrhage, then it is easy to save the patient’s life. So let’s know what is the difference between brain stroke and brain hemorrhage?
Dr. Rahul Gupta, Director of Brain and Spine Surgery, Fortis Hospital, Noida and former consultant of Chandigarh PGI says that there is a lot of difference between brain stroke and brain haemorrhage. There are two types of brain stroke. The first is ischemic brain stroke and the second is hemorrhagic brain stroke. Now in such a situation, the question arises that ischemic brain stroke or attack occurs when the vein of the brain which works to deliver blood. Some kind of problems start in that. This obstruction in the veins can be due to any kind of blockage. 85 percent people in the country undergo ischemic brain stroke. The most important reason behind this can be your lifestyle. On the other hand, hemorrhagic brain stroke or brain hemorrhage occurs when the veins that reach your brain burst. For your information, let us tell you that 15 percent people are at risk of brain hemorrhage or brain stroke.
What causes ischemic brain stroke
There can be many reasons for ischemic brain stroke, but mainly due to diabetes, hypertension, smoking, dietary disturbances, increased lipid cholesterol levels. It happens. Blood vessels dilate due to ischemic brain stroke. Fat accumulates inside it. In such a situation, the flow of blood to the brain decreases. Because of which, along with heart problems, atrial fibrillation occurs in the heart. Due to which small lumps are formed in the heart. After which it moves towards the brain. And due to this the blood vessels of the brain get blocked. Many times people faint in this. His face becomes contorted.
Hemorrhagic brain stroke occurs due to these reasons
99 percent of people are at risk of hemorrhagic brain stroke or brain hemorrhage when the veins that supply blood to the brain burst. Which is called aneurysm. This is what you call arteriovenous malformation (AVM) or hypertension. In this disease, small balloons are formed inside the brain. The vein gets damaged. And the balloon is done.
Treatment
According to Dr. Rahul Gupta, blood vessels get damaged a lot. Because of which the veins burst. It can be cured by doing this case operation. So that there is no bleeding. Bleeding in the brain can be treated with medicines. If brain ischemia occurs or blood vessels are closed, then the supply of blood stops. It can be detected through CT scan.
