Elderly people get Alzheimer’s, here a 17-year-old boy got it.

Alzheimer Symptoms: Brain works to control the body. Nutrients from food increase its activity. But after an age, changes are seen in the neurons of the brain. Many diseases are born due to these activities of the brain.

Alzheimer’s is also considered such a disease. Usually this disease is seen in the elderly. Due to the proper activity of the brain, youth is generally less prone to this disease. But if the jawan falls in the grip of this disease, then the situation is very serious. One such case has been seen in the neighboring country of India.

17-year-old boy in China gets Alzheimer’s

Recently a study was published in the Journal of Alzheimer’s Disease. According to the report, the age of the person from China is now 19 years. He developed amnesia from the age of 17. All the tests of the youth were done regarding this. Later, researchers at Capital Medical University in Beijing diagnosed the young man with Alzheimer’s disease.

Youngest disease record

Researchers have told that only after all the tests of the young man, it has been told that he has Alzheimer’s disease. Experts say that if the test is done correctly and the boy really has Alzheimer’s disease, then this will be the record of the youngest Alzheimer’s disease.

One who studies, forgets, left studies in the middle

Problems started coming in front of the 17-year-old boy in school. In school, he was not able to concentrate on studies. A year later the situation became more serious. He also started having trouble remembering what he had eaten and what work he had done during the day. He also forgot to do homework. Had to leave the school midway due to deteriorating mental condition. When he went to the doctors for treatment, a committee was formed to examine him. The scans revealed that his hippocampus, a part of the brain involved in memory, had shrunk. This is an early sign of dementia.

Disease can be genetic

Experts say that Alzheimer’s disease is genetically more common in people under 30 years of age. The 21-year-old Alzheimer’s patient who came earlier also had the same disease. Three genes have been linked to Alzheimer’s disease in youth. These include amyloid precursor protein (APP), presenilin 1 (PSEN1) and presenilin 2 (PSEN2). These genes are involved in the production of a protein fragment called beta-amyloid peptide. If there is any kind of defect in these genes, then it can cause Alzheimer’s disease.
