Faridabad: The hariana State chapter-Telemedicine Society of India (TSI), which launched at Amrita Hospital, Faridabad, aims to connect patients in need of medical help with in-house technical teams using telemedicine and clinics on wheels.
Speaking at the launch, Dr. Prem Nair, the group’s chief medical officer, Amrita Hospitals and Vice President, National Telemedicine Society of India, informed that this was one of the important milestones and informed that they are already providing teleconsultation and Teleeducation through mobile telemedicine units. We look forward to working with the Telemedicine Society of India and beginning to connect with the health care facilities.
TSI Haryana Chapter will collaborate with all medical colleges and institutions to provide training for future doctors. It is the 16th state chapter of TSI in India.
Dr. Puneet Dhar, Chairman of the Haryana Telemedicine Chapter, highlighted the need to bridge the digital divide in healthcare, saying, “About 1.3 billion people in the country are on the spectrum of the digital divide. in health care. The development of healthcare infrastructure is vital for the development of the country and telemedicine can help.
