Dr Michael Mosley has added a new diet to his repertoire; The Fast 800 Keto. The new weight loss guru diet is different from the usual high-fat, low-carb ketogenic diet. The expert states that The Fast 800 Keto “builds on the science that provides the foundation for The Very Fast 800 and simply cuts carbs even further to push your body into more consistent nutritional ketosis.” So how does it work and how much weight can you lose? Dr. Michael revealed everything and explained how it was a “safe” method for “rapid weight loss”.
Dr. Michael explained: “It’s a classic ketogenic diet – you’re eating a lot of fat and that’s not necessarily healthy in the long run.
“So I produced a Keto diet that is reduced in carbohydrates and calories, and this has been clinically proven in Italy and Spain.
“That [the diet] it has been shown to produce an average weight loss of two stones (12-13 kg) in around eight weeks, with a waist shrinkage of around 12 centimeters.
“In long-term studies, weight loss is maintained.

low carb keto burger
Speaking about the recipe, Dr. Michael said: “This keto burger is a great option if you are looking to reduce your carb intake and help your body get into ketosis.
“A standard take-out burger will leave you feeling bloated and hungry, full of refined carbs and trans fat.
“However, our burger will give you long-lasting energy, help you burn fat and lose weight for better health.”
The recipe serves one and there are 480 calories per serving.
It takes 20 minutes to prepare and 30 minutes to cook.
Ingredients:
One tablespoon of melted unsalted butter
a big egg
a tablespoon of milk
One tablespoon of almond flour
A tablespoon of coconut flour
1/8 teaspoon baking powder
poppy seeds, optional
100g lean minced meat
A quarter teaspoon of garlic powder
Half a teaspoon of dried oregano
20g cheddar cheese, sliced
A quarter of a baby cos separate lettuce leaves
Quarter tomato, sliced
One teaspoon of whole egg mayonnaise
One teaspoon of dijon mustard
Method:
1. Preheat oven to 160°C/180°C/350°F/Gas mark four.
2. In a bowl, combine butter, egg, milk, almond and coconut flour, and baking powder. Stir with a whisk until fully combined and smooth.
3. Lightly grease a 12 cm/4 inch round cake tin. Pour the batter into a ramekin/s. Smooth the surface.
4. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the top of the bread springs back when touched instead of sinking. Let the bread cool down a bit.
5. While the buns are baking, make your burgers: mix the ground beef with oregano, garlic powder, and salt and pepper. Form round patties (about the same size as your molds).
6. Fry the burgers in a skillet over medium-high heat for a few minutes on each side; once flipped, place the cheese slice on top, lower the heat and cover the pan so the cheese melts.
7. Use a spatula to loosen the bread from the sides of the pan and turn it over.
8. Cut the bun in half horizontally and spread with mayonnaise before layering the lettuce and tomato. Top with your burger and bun top.
