Ghaziabad: Boost for telemedicine as doctors, ANMs register on e-Sanjeevani portal – ET HealthWorld


Ghaziabad: Following the instructions of UP National Health Mission in Lucknowlogin ids are being created for all healthcare providers in Ghaziabad. Medical Director Dr. bhavtosh shankdhar said doctors, community health officers and frontline workers such as auxiliary nurse midwives (NMA) will register with e-Sanjeevani to expand telemedicine services.

In the letter issued by the mission director, UP NHM Aparna Upadhaya, has directed district CMOs across the state to register community health officer doctors and other health workers in e-Sanjeevani portal.

The portal helps people get medical consultations from government hospital doctors and was introduced during the COVID-19 pandemic.

In e-Sanjeevani OPD, it also allows video consultation. After a consultation, a digital prescription is generated in the patient’s medical record.
