New Delhi: The National Health Authority (NHA) announced Thursday that it has successfully integrated more than 100 Health programs and health apps as part of its flagship program Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM).
In addition to having integrated 33 health apps from private healthcare providers, some of the top government-run apps have also been integrated into the ABDM. These include notable names like A-HMIS (Ayush Ministry), eSushrut, eSanjeevani 2.0, ESIC, Haryana e-Upchaar, ANM Andhra Pradesh Health EHR, West Bengal Integrated HMIS and other government sector healthcare solutions.
He NHA called the integration of digital health solutions with ABDM a “catalyst for building a digital health ecosystem that is conducive to all.” These integrations are allowing more people to take advantage of the benefits of digital health services, such as creating an ABHA account, accessing and sharing health records digitally, instant registration for OPD services and more, the NHA reported. it’s a statement.

According to the NHA, it has completed its 1 integration milestone by integrating all the health apps that have successfully broken through to offer even more ABHA (ayushman bharat Health Account) creation and verification service to their respective users.
53 of these apps have completed their next-level ABDM integration, which NHA marks as Milestone Two to become a Health Information Provider (HIP). Your users will be able to view their health records generated on these platforms and download and manage them using any preferred PHR (Personal Health Records) app on their phones.
In addition, 45 health apps have completed their final ABDM integration milestone (Milestone 3) and have become Health Information Users (HIUs). These ABDM integrated apps, according to NHA, enable the sharing of health data based on patient consent and authentication.
ABDM integrations are achieved through ABDM sandbox, a digital space for experimentation created to test the integration processes before the digital health product is launched for real use. Any provider/developer of digital health services can register in the ABDM sandbox following a predefined process of integrating and validating its software systems using the ABDM APIs, reads later in the statement.
Currently, the ABDM Sandbox has 778 active participants across Health Information Providers, Health Repository Providers, Health Information Users, or Health Locker categories. To further encourage the adoption of ABDM, NHA has also launched a financial incentive scheme, namely Digital Health Incentive Scheme (DHIS), which offers incentives of up to Rs. Rs 4 crore for digital health stakeholders like hospitals, labs and healthcare tech companies by January 2023.
