Aloo Korma Recipe: Potato is an evergreen vegetable, from which any kind of vegetable can be made in any season. If you want to make some different and rich gravy vegetable from potatoes, then we are going to tell you such a recipe which is prepared in a very short time and tastes amazing too. You should try Aloo Kurma Sabzi once. You can also include it in lunch dinner. It is very easy to make this recipe. So let’s know its recipe

Material

  • potatoes four to five pieces
  • curd one cup
  • chopped onion
  • garlic paste one teaspoon
  • Ginger paste one teaspoon
  • red chili powder one teaspoon
  • coriander powder half teaspoon
  • turmeric powder half teaspoon
  • salt as per taste
  • cashew nuts 12 pieces
  • long five
  • cardamom three
  • two big cardamom
  • cumin half teaspoon
  • bay leaf
  • black pepper 5 to 6
  • Nutmeg powder half tsp
  • Green coriander two spoons
  • oil two cups

Potato Korma Recipe

  • First of all peel off the potato, wash it and cut it into small pieces.
  • Now put the cooker on the gas to get hot and add two cups of oil and let it heat up.
  • When smoke starts coming out, cut two onions and let them turn light brown.
  • When the onions turn brown, add potatoes and fry them.
  • Mix garlic and ginger paste with a cup of curd and salt and stir.
  • When the aroma starts coming from the spice, add one teaspoon red chili powder, half teaspoon turmeric powder, one teaspoon coriander powder and mix it.
  • Coarsely grind all the dry spices like cumin, clove, cardamom and cook it for 10 minutes after adding it to the vegetable.
  • Now add cashew paste to it and fry for 5 minutes.
  • Now put two glasses of water in the cooker, close it and let it cook till the whistle comes.
  • After removing the pressure, open the vegetable and fry it for 5 minutes.
  • Now put green coriander on top and serve hot with roti.
