Clirnet launches DocTube, free public health content platform – ET HealthWorld


New Delhi: clinet has announced the launch of doctubea video first, free public health content platform aimed at providing confidence medical information to the citizens of India and improve the patient health outcomes.

It is India’s largest repository of multilingual health information made ‘by doctors, for the people’ that is deeply relevant to the demographics and vast diversity of the people of India.

DocTube is home to over 10,000 medical videos created by over 3,000 verified doctors. The platform already covers more than 1,000 therapeutic medical conditions, with more than 80 percent of the videos in Indian vernaculars, catering to the diverse language needs of the Indian population. The intention is to take this to over 50,000 videos by next year, covering all major regions and languages ​​in India.

Dr. Devi Prasad Shetty, President and CEO, Narayana Health, shared his views on decoupling health care from wealth and highlighted the importance of accessible and affordable health care for all. Dr Shetty said: “In an era where misinformation can have dire consequences, platforms like DocTube play a vital role in disseminating accurate medical knowledge. By providing patients with trusted information from qualified doctors, DocTube empowers people to make informed decisions about their health.

Saurav Kasera, co-founder of Clirnet, said: “It is designed to bridge the gap between doctors and patients, allowing verified doctors to share authentic medical knowledge directly with the public.”

Through health content platform, verified doctors can create and share a wide range of content, including videos, presentations, and demos. The platform covers various health-related topics such as treatment options, medical procedures, lifestyle changes, and technological advances. By offering information in patients’ preferred languages, the platform ensures accessibility for all, regardless of regional diversity.
