New Delhi: Addverb, an industrial robotics and warehouse automation player, has announced his entry into the humanoid field of robotics, with the launch planned for 2025. This historic move represents a new chapter in the evolution of Addverb, which began with the development of fixed automation systems and mobile robots.
Previously, Addverb introduced “Trakr”, an AI-powered software. robot with autonomous navigation, modular payload and the ability to traverse various terrain for maintenance and security applications. Built-in addverb Dependence as a strategic investor in 2021 and subsequently deployed its advanced robotics solutions across multiple use cases across Reliance’s various businesses including grocery, fashion, petrochemicals and healthcare. Addverb will work closely with Reliance to develop the humanoid, leveraging the synergy of the Jio AI Platform and 5G services, and deploy them widely across the group’s businesses for various use cases.
The new humanoid robot will be an advanced artificial intelligence agent capable of processing large volumes of multimodal data from vision, audio and touch inputs. Leveraging dynamic self-learning algorithms, it will navigate complex environments, perform complex tasks, make real-time decisions, and adapt to diverse workflows across industries, including warehouses, defense, and healthcare.
The robot will execute complex tasks that require bipedal mobility on multiple terrains. It will also integrate Visual and Language Action (VLA) technology, allowing full autonomy in dynamic environments.
