Ronnie Coleman praises Larry Wheels

Earlier this week, the 8-time Mr. Olympia met a world record-breaking weightlifter from the United States, Larry Wheels. During his interaction, Coleman labeled Wheels the strongest bodybuilder in the world.

Wheels took to Instagram to share a glimpse of this moment. In the Instagram Reel shared on her official Instagram account, Wheels can be seen getting down on his knees as Coleman bestowed on him the massive honor of World’s Strongest Bodybuilder. “I was knighted by @ronniecoleman8 @teampersonalrecord” Wheels wrote in the legend of the reel.

Wheels grew up humble, living in poverty and foster care in New York City. He started training and lifting weights at the age of just 14. Additionally, he made history at the 2020 Arnold Classic with a whopping total of 1075kg / 2370lbs at 308lbs bodyweight, an all-time powerlifting record.

Coleman reacted to Wheels lifting 150 kg (330 lb) and 142 kg (313 lb) logs for ten repetitions, saying, “This is 313 times 10. I’ve never done anything remotely close to that. I hadn’t even tried this exercise before.”
