As of January 1, 2025, the newest demographic, Generation Beta, is ready to enter this world. According to social scientist Mark McCrindle, this group of children born between 2025 and 2039 is expected to make up 16% of the world’s population by 2035. Many of them are visible in the early 22nd century.
Generation Z
From time to time, a new generation appears in the world. These generations are named differently. You must have already heard of Generation Z or Generation Alpha. Similarly, the next generation beta is going to start in 2025. In common parlance, the Beta generation is the beginning of a new generation. It was named so because the generation named Alpha was special there. According to social scientist McCriddle, this shows that a new beginning of history is about to begin.
The beta generation arrives after the alpha
You must have heard a lot about generations like Millennials and Gen G, which shows that such terms are used for different generations. Now another new generation is coming, called Gen Beta. These are the people who will be born between 2025 and 2039. Children born between 2014 and 2024 are called Alpha and Gen Z (1997-2012).
Each time a new generation arrives, it is given a different name. Starting with Zen Alpha, people named it from the Greek alphabet. I started naming these generations. After the Alpha generation, the Beta generation and so on were given such names.
