patna: All India Institute of Medical Sciences – Patna (AIIMS-P) has adopted the latest artificial intelligence (AI) technology for the treatment of patients.
Announcing it at a workshop on Wednesday, AIIMS-P CEO Dr. GK Pal said the eHealth section, a leading technology solutions provider of the ministry of health and family welfarehas decided to develop AI solutions in this institute and the workshop was part of this initiative.
As AI continues to revolutionize healthcare, teaching, and research on a large scale, it has become essential to foster a solid foundational understanding of its principles and applications.
This workshop was designed to attend to involve the different departments of the innovative ideas of professors and students in this field. Workshop sessions covered a variety of topics, including machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision, robotics, and outreach to work at the Institute to make AI the best in the country.

Dr Anil Kumarhead of trauma and surgery at AIIMS-P and secretary member of the AI committee, said the workshop was attended by experts on AI technologies and senior faculty from AIIMS-P.
