Alexis Ren is a model, dancer, and wellness entrepreneur, so when I stumbled across her 10-minute abs routine in YoutubeI knew what I was going to be doing the next day. In the description of the video, Ren said that he tries to do this exercise. every morning. “It’s quick, to the point, and you’ll feel it the next day,” he wrote. Coupled with the fact that the video, released in 2018, has over 46 million views (!) and thousands of highly positive comments, it seemed like a no-brainer to try it out for myself.
This is one of those workouts that made me check how much time was left after, I kid you not, two minutes. The first half of the workout is done on your back (crunches, bike crunches, flutter kicks), and would honestly be enough for a good workout, but then you turn around and do another five minutes of a plank position, just to make sure your abs are really sore for the rest of the day. Ren was in “dancing with the stars” in 2018, and I remember being blown away by his fitness at the time – now I know it came from relentless, challenging workouts like this.
