Marburg Virus Cause and Symptoms: Marburg virus is as different to the world as Corona. Like we were already familiar with Corona but its coming in the form of Kovid-19 overshadowed the world. Similarly, Marburg virus is also like Ebola virus but no medicine or vaccine is available for it yet, like it was not for Kovid-19. It is a matter of concern that Marburg virus is also an infectious disease, which can spread from animals to humans. For example, humans can come in the grip of this virus from infected animals like bats etc. and then this virus can spread from one human to another and infect them. So far this year, no patient was found in the world. But two cases have been found in Ghana, a country in West Africa, which has been confirmed by the Ghana Health Service (GHS).
Based on the information received from the sources, these two infected cases of Marburg virus have been reported in Ghana, 98 people who came in contact with them have been selected and kept in quarantine. However, after examining all these, no symptoms of virus infection have been found in any of them so far. This is the second time in the last few years that these two cases of Marburg virus have been reported. Earlier, in the last year i.e. 2021 also, a case of this infection was found. But when no other case was found within 5 weeks of getting this case, this infection was declared ineffective. Although infection of this virus was first reported in the world in 1967 in Germany, 7 people died at that time. Whereas in 2005, 200 people lost their lives in Angol due to this virus.
