Nagpur:Artificial intelligence‘ can be better used if called ‘assistive intelligence’, as it helps to fine-tune and simplify the complicated and lengthy process related to the pharmaceutical industrysaid Dr. Shridhar Reddy, Global Head, Straight, Hyderabad.

Reddy was on his way to a session on ‘Artificial Intelligence in Pharmacovigilance: a blessing to patient safety‘ in the CPI. The session was chaired by Dr CN Patel and co-chaired by Dr MR Tajne.

He said that AI is a boon for the pharmaceutical industry as it speeds up the process of report illness and keep track of patient’s data. “Lack of data reporting is the biggest problem faced around the world and AI offers solutions with data management record systems. The drug surveillance market has grown and gained importance,” he said.
