Recently a study was done regarding this. It was published in the Endocrine Society’s Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism. It was revealed in the study that the risk of increasing the chances of diabetes in women is very high due to the chemicals coming out of these products. Officials at the University of Michigan School of Public Health reported that research has found that Phthalates chemicals can increase the risk of diabetes in women, especially white women, over a period of six years.

Study done on 1308 women in 6 years
Researchers studied 1,308 women over six years. The study focused on women’s health. It was observed that a chemical called Phthalates has worked to increase diabetes. About 5 percent of women became victims of diabetes in the last 6 years. The researchers said that urine samples were collected in the early 2000s. These women had higher levels of chemicals called phthalates in their urine, similar to middle-aged women in the US. Whereas in other women, its risk was slightly less.
