Behavioural and mental health platform tops Growth Stage category at TiE’s Women Pitchfest 2022

During the TiE Women’s Pitchfest 2022 in Mysuru, a plethora of ideas and products and services from emerging companies were presented. These included an affordable rural health care plan, a platform to protect IT infrastructure from cyber attacks, a digital platform to deliver mental health care, and ignite and support the dream of learning to fly.

A total of 44 applications were received from nine cities in India for the competition, of which 21 were in the idea stage, 15 in the pre-revenue stage and 8 in the growth stage. There were 17 applicants from Mysuru. The top nine teams from three categories presented their products, services and ideas to jury members who included Janani Venkatraman, CEO of Biomoneta, Bengaluru; Jayashree Krishna, Managing Partner, Beej Learning LLP, Bengaluru; Dr. Ramasastry Ambarish, Chairman, Board of Governors, MYRA Business School, Mysuru.

The selection of winners took place on Saturday October 15 in Mysuru.

The winners of each category received a cash prize of Rs 50,000 each.

The winner in the Stage of Growth category was Mindfully Sorted, a mental and behavioral health platform focused on working adults, especially women. It provides technology solutions based on psychology to help people reach their true potential and put their lives in order. The startup is incubated at IIM NSRCEL and is among the top 50 women’s companies.

The winner in the Pre-Revenue Stage category was Breachpoint Pvt. Ltd. Breachpoint focuses on cyber security and is an Indian bug bounty platform. Bug Bounty is a concept where a bounty, which is a monetary reward, is paid to an ethical hacker if they find a valid bug on a website or any IT asset. Founder Shefali Cyclewala is one of the first female cyber security experts in India.

The winner in the Idea Stage category was Magnetech Innovation Pvt. Ltd., which is a start-up developing expertise in BLDC motors used in drones for surveillance applications, agricultural applications, motors for missile fin drives, and motors for exoskeleton robots. .

Dr. Shrilakshmi, president of TiE Mysuru Women’s Pitchfest, said this time the turnout was much higher and from a broader geography, proving that women are not behind men in the startup world.

Citing the involvement of entrepreneurs, D. Sudhanva, President of TiE Mysuru, said that TiE’s goal of providing a supportive and enabling environment for entrepreneurs is bearing fruit.
