Brandy recovering after experiencing health scare due to ‘dehydration and low amounts of nutrition’

Brandy is recovering. The “Moesha” alum took to her social media on Wednesday to share that she was “following doctors orders and resting” after experiencing a health issue.

“To my dear family, friends and stars, thank you for sending me love and light on my path,” he wrote in a statement shared on his Twitter and Instagram account. “I follow the doctors’ orders and get the rest I need due to dehydration and poor nutrition.”

“Thank you for your prayers and support,” he added. “Thankful for all of you, see you soon. ❤️ ⭐️”

Few confirmed details were available about the singer’s experience other than the update she shared on her accounts.

Brandy recently reflected on one of the biggest roles of her career, starring in the 1997 TV movie adaptation of “Cinderella.” She opened up during ABC News Studios’ “Cinderella: The Reunion, A Special Edition of 20/20,” which aired on August 23, about her being the first black actress to play Cinderella on screen.

“My dream as a child was to be a singer, have my own band and meet Whitney Houston. That was it,” she said. said. “I had no idea that my destiny would lead me to a role [like] Cinderella, [or that I would] to be the first woman of color to play her.”
