meIf you’re an experienced gymnast looking for a little more performance when you work out, try my favorite approach: a full-body weight circuit. This will give you the sweet spot of building muscle and burning fat at the same time. It is not a workout for beginners.
The idea is to include what are known as compound movements, which are large movements that use several muscle groups at the same time, instead of always concentrating on a specific muscle group. You can also do some exercises as supersets, which is when you do two exercises in a row without rest.
For this workout, you need to be comfortable in the gym, confident in your technique, and strong enough to pull it off.
