The pandemic is dragging on and putting pressure on our collective mental health.
Local mental health experts remind people that if they don’t know where to turn for support, 211 can help.
Jackie Ralph of the Canadian Mental Health Association Gray Bruce says rapid changes to lockdown are difficult for everyone.
“Sometimes we have very little time to prepare and turn things around,” Ralph said. “And other times I think the opposite… if I’ve had too much time to plan this, it can affect me, so we’re all affected by things differently and we’ve absolutely had all the feels as of late.”
CMHA Gray Bruce statistics show a 49 percent increase in the number of people served last year.
