In recent years, another female music icon has shared one of her routines that has wowed fans for decades. In December 2020, Dolly Parton shared information about your morning routine to RuPaul during a marie claire interview.

“I’m a very, very, very early riser,” she revealed. “I go to bed quite early, but I have ups and downs. If I wake up and I’m quite awake, I think, I have a lot to do, I’ll get up and work for a while, write for a while and go to bed.

Early for Parton is waking up around 3 a.m. after “three to five hours” of sleep, though she prefers five. In the morning hours, between 3 a.m. and 7 a.m., he said he does “some of my best spiritual work, some of my best writing, and some of my business work.”

“I do more work during that little period of time when the world is calm, energies are low, and I feel like a farmer,” he explained. “They say that the early bird takes the worm. Well, they also have a lot of good ideas.”

Part of her morning routine also includes making breakfast for her husband of 55+, Charles Dean. True to form, she cooks breakfast in a pair of high heels, which is the quintessence of her glamour.

“I have to always be ready, street ready, I always say,” she said. “I have to keep my makeup on and keep my hair done. But actually I wear high heels most of the time. They are not always as tall as the ones I wear to the show. But I am small. I’m short. And I have to wear heels to get to my closets. But I always enjoy wearing the shoes too, and I feel more like myself.”
