During BuzzFeed Sister Quiz, she and her sister Halle revealed some of their favorite meatless dishes, like avocado toast, rice and bread, and sweet treats like vegan cheesecake, donuts and pancakes. “Sissy and I LOVE oatmeal. So for breakfast, we’ll make maple syrup brown sugar oatmeal with a side of fruit. Sometimes for lunch, I’ll make grilled veggie hot dogs while Halle makes delicious kale chips. And to finish off the day for dinner, we’ll do spinach and brown rice with a side of veggie meatballs,” they added during a teen fashion interview in 2017.

Chlöe and her sister revealed to Teen Vogue that walking is part of their routine to keep fit. “Every morning we walk our little brother to school. That helps us start the day well and refreshed,” they said. Also, when they are traveling they try to walk instead of being driven. Walking is excellent for health. Even walking in place has benefits. “Anything that gets you moving instead of just sitting or lying down will be beneficial to you in the long run,” exercise physiologist. jordan boremanMS, CES, tells the Cleveland Clinic. “By walking in place, you’re increasing your heart rate, which will signal your body to start pumping more oxygen and blood to your muscles to help them move more efficiently, thus burning more calories.”

Both Chlöe and her sister also like to work up a sweat outdoors. They love to go for a run, “about three times a week,” they told Teen Vogue. “Well, my sister and I like the pace to match our running pace, so we pick anything high-energy and fast-paced! Our workout playlist consists of Beyonce, The Weeknd, Kanye, TwentyOne Pilots, Bruno Mars, etc. I like to have fun!”

Chlöe also believes that genetics play a role. “I think half of my body is from genes and my family,” she revealed in a fan Q&A video. “My mom was a track star, her body was amazing, and I think I got it from her. Now, I’m vegan, I don’t think being vegan has anything to do with my shape.”

Chlöe and Halle also love smoothies. In this video they revealed his favorite recipe, a mixture of raspberries, almond milk, blueberries, apple, agave nectar and ice. Smoothies can be good for your gut. The human gastrointestinal tract contains more than five hundred species of bacteria, trillions of microbes that help break down food, while also playing a role in eliminating any invasive insects that may be mounting your radicchio. In fact, some of the bacteria in your gut even help ward off pathogens that cause colds and flus. But like any efficient army, your bug brigade needs strong leadership; otherwise, chaos and riot ensue. A balanced gut means your gnarly little squad is working at peak efficiency on your behalf. But when things get out of control, due to poor diet or sometimes medications like antibiotics and even heartburn remedies, the forces below your belly button can turn against you. Studies show that obese people have higher levels of bad bacteria from the Firmicutes phylum, while lean people have higher levels of good bacteria from the Bacteroidetes phylum. Smoothies can help you balance your gut biome.
