She continued: “I woke up on what seemed like a perfectly normal day. I made myself a cuppa and let the dogs out when I suddenly realized I was feeling sick, yes that’s right, I was feeling a little weird.

“It was actually all the women who said to me, ‘Are you sure it’s not menopause?’ and I said ‘no’, my mother never mentioned menopause, I don’t even know if my mother had menopause.

“I’ve been fighting to admit it, but I’m finally admitting it, and I think that’s why I feel a little sad and very forgetful…

The star is a loving mother of three

“So I just want you to know that I know nowadays we say ‘oh it’s nature’ and ‘we have to go through that’, at least we can talk about it more unlike my mother who knows what she went through.

“And I’m glad I was able to look into it and see that I’m not freaking out, I’m not depressed for no reason, and I hope it helps you to know that you can talk about it.”

The star made the clip as part of his self-made miniseries, Col’s Corner, which returned earlier this week, and fans were very excited.

Coleen’s son, Shane, recently married.

In the first video, posted on Thursday of the Lionesses’ epic European Championship win, fans of the ITV presenter couldn’t wait to leave their messages.

Coleen’s daughter Ciara wrote: “Stun hun.” One fan wrote: “Wow miss you look absolutely stunning and you look so good she’s still the smiley happy joyful one and we need more cols corner.”
